They say I’m CRAZY . . .

As I step out on faith and follow the Lord’s leading I have heard many things . . . “I’m praying for you . . . How exciting . . . WOW . . .” and even “that is CRAZY, you have a family to provide for” well, when you are following God things often look CRAZY . . . those guys leaving their nets - heck Peter had a wife and mother-n-law at home. All I can say is God is my PROVISION! Also, yes I am “CRAZY” . . . CRAZY enough to Chase After God with a Reckless Abandon!

I took the following from Ben Arment’s blog: Call Me an Unreasonable Man
I love this quote by George Bernard Shaw:

“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”
To be an unreasonable person is to live a defensive life. But the incentives for being reasonable are tragic: “Congratulations! You get to do the exact same thing you’ve always done!” Sometimes when I encounter people who say no too quickly, I think, “Really? That’s as far as you’ll go? That’s as far as your leash of reason will let you wander?”

Ben is the Experience & Innovation Director at Catalyst in Atlanta and founder of The Whiteboard Sessions.

I am being challenged to remain “CRAZY” for that is what they said about Jesus and his disciples and to remember if the early followers of Christ had been reasonable - you and I would not know about Jesus today!
